Valencia

Spring, of course not?

And summer, oh yes,

Heat and dust,

Verandas, quiet

Valencia, Spain

©Sharon Rose

Afternoons with siestas.

White powdery beaches,

Mosaic boardwalks,

Memories, of old.

Sunning and walks,

Vacations at cafés

Sidewalks, and fountains.

Posters, museums, hotels.

Museums and statues

Beauty and cruelty

Sunny and quiet.

Repeat the trip. Soon.

Sounds like a nice vacation. Have a friend who retired to Spain from England about 20 years ago. She doesn’t live too far from Valencia. Loves it there but misses her daughter and grandchildren a lot.
