Never Was A Secret

glance a picture
silver mousse hair
smooth handsome
profile truth
voice, heart melts
meeting, hearts rapid
music, emotions svelte
exciting, adoring
secrets forever told
love, choosing
same losses, pain
tearful injury, cowards escape
knowing pain leaves lack
reality, words fumble
under head injury
old trick from old goat
annuls, with voluntary comatose
hurts, everlasting scrape

ref. old goat – devil

A pain and voluntary comatose. is so dark and sad. A haunting poem and well used 55 words.

“old trick from old goat” — Sad that there are people like that. Liked the way you told this story. I had to read it over a few times to make all connections. Clever.

def the wave of emotion is in this…head injuries are hard things and can def leave a jumble…i know a few other bloggers that have them…or had them…and beyond that there are some hurts that just linger….

Pure minimalism. A rocky road to heartache – always difficult to heal from bruises more than skin deep.

I like the use of language here, but must admit to being a teeny bit confused. Enjoyed reading it – three times.

Seems the place dark words come to die… or at least lapse into coma. But there is as much expression in the starkness as there is in the bright sun, as you have shown. Interesting piece..

there are some injuries that need its time to heal…

I find it sad when words & world fumbles from a head injury ~

…i suspect a never ending escape from pain & reality but i am more left intrigued…. smiles…

Slightly dazed and confused by this – but I think that was the idea

    same losses, pain
    tearful injury, ”

Ouch, sounds like a vicious cycle. One must be careful to whom one lends the secrets of their soul. Nicely captured, indeed.

old goats are things to stay away from I think…we learn as we go….
