Bliss

images

Her ‘Third Eye’ flashes back, his words, a memory she never has those!
What memory, flashes? Reminding? He says:
“Come home with me? Please. I will rock your world!”
Confident offering, life happens.
Two years later an email. One quiet invitation: connect?
A timing never quite there in the past; surfacing, why?
Cautiously, nervously she replies, hitting the send button,
knowing if he does not reply the second time she will not be brave again,
maybe for years. In a friendship with possibilities. Who knew,
he could rock my world. Will she rock his? World. Mmm?
Ate @ Bliss, in Bliss.

*The phrase “mind’s eye” refers to the human ability for visualization, i.e., for the experiencing

of visual mental imagery; in other words, one’s ability to “see” things with the mind. (Wikipedia)

Maybe it’s there for him – well timed.
