A Purple November

month in many parts
world wide maybe
November is no
shave month for men’s
awareness of health
issues. Ribbon for
women’s abuse.

month for the arts
spent in glee
November is the know
Winter is an omen’s
for cold, stealth
ensues all of our poor
seek warm coats use

month shelters starts
mornings hours we
Nov embers in snow
soon freezes seek inns
not for those of wealth
but we know score
we stew in our own juice

sunsets normal departs
colorful shows to see
Novembers’ clouds flow
Streaks anew, begin
To paint across svelte
skies oranges, reds galore
fires of warmth seduce.

no shave month for men! :0)–Clever poem with a sort of lulling repetitive movement to it. Glad you shared, Sharon!
