Too Quiet!?

Dear Past Me, Dear Future Me

Over the past
No reparations due
Shadows no longer cast
Memories to view

Many times being aghast
Name changes you accrue
Hoping for a recast
Dreams falling through

Not even youth hast
Not necessary for you
Life is passing in the mast
Daily delights ensue

Wonder and patience last
Enters ‘The Teach’ with no ado
A friend unsurpassed
Encouraging sailing through

Future may be a blast
Just learn to be you true
Stop anxiety about the miscast
Opening eyes see lives imbue

Ceasing your person’s glassed
Mast with sails comes breezing through
New faith found amassed
Love captures your lives subdue

Love and living should broadcast
Forthcoming life overdue
Spinnaker moving like ballast

Living is no debut
Juliet and her beau were not up to the task
Blackbeard ‘The Teach’ true blue
‘Feather’ knows He Is First and Last
He blesses us both a life precast.

Another old me, should have known this one, descendant
of the real Blackbeard? Duh? I do have a really long Blackbeard
saga to post though. This is an older write I found
so I suppose Blackbeard will turn up also. Ah, found it! Coming Soon!

you are a descendant of blackbeard? that is cool…learning to be true to yourself is def key…and love and living broadcast is another cool line in this…

No, I am not a descendant, the post I will make soon is about
a real descendant of Blackbeard. It is an older long write I
had been working for several years. And Teach is the family name!
Can you imagine? I should ask if I can post his recent pic.
Pretty scary, really. You would not believe it. I may have his email
      around here somewhere.

smiles…in a way life is no debut – and in a way it is every single day me thinks.. and learning to be ourselves is a good thing…

“Just learn to be you true.” That sentence is full of excellent advice. Love the rhyme in this.

I liked “name changes you accrue” I can’t help identifying with that line. I’ve been married and divorced twice and have had my share of name changes and hopes for recast 🙂

    Living is no debut…indeed.

The pace of your words ebbs and flows quiet nicely.
