I like the short lines, the spacing for extra breath. Nice use of contradiction. The doubt and unsure footing of the voice is palpable. Very honest words; no BS. I love to visit seasides. The sea brings back focus. COuldn’t live on one full time though. Too many tides. I get that. This piece was liked pulled back and forth. The word OR used a lot. Effective to convey confliction. The only line I question is that pain is useless. But its probably personal preference. Excellente write. I enjoyed the passion and truth of its expression. Thanks for visiting my site and reading my lil poemish verse. Look forward to more of your work.
